LemProject

Supported Devices

Currently, (as of 14-06-2007) Lemmings DS should run on any device with Read/Write DLDI support

It will not work on any emulator I know of.

If you’ve tested Lemmings DS on your hardware and it works (or if it doesn’t), then tell us in the MrD.net forum!

Please note the comments below refer to an older version of Lemmings DS before DLDI support was added.

It doesn’t work with DS-Xtreme. The screen is completely “scrambled”. :’(

it works on G6 lite :)

  3. Graeme December 27th, 2006 10:41 am

What write settings did you use for the G6? It’s giving me the old “white screen of death”.

“It will not work with devices that go into the top of the DS” - why not?

  5. Matt December 27th, 2006 11:29 am

Because it explictly expects all of the graphics, music and levels to live in an ‘appended filesystem’, which is currently set to be loaded from GBA ROM.

do not use the g6-u disk manager for the transfert, like many other homebrews you just have to drag&drop the file with the windows file manager on the g6 disk (no patching required). Download this file and drag it : “Lemmings DS v3 (Supercard / GBA Flashcart)”

It did not work with my Max Media Dock. I tried both versions. The “.sc.nds” version blacked out the top screen and froze. The “.nds” version blacked out both screens, then froze.

It’s working in M3 miniSD.I used the supercard version, and patched it with the Game Manager.
Is it possible to exit from a level to select another? i tried but it seems it isn´t possible

You’ll have to nuke all the lems I’m afraid.

  11. kejtu December 28th, 2006 7:58 pm

does it work on SC Rumble?

  12. Matt December 29th, 2006 12:41 am

I’m afraid not. A general rule is ‘if it can play GBA games, then it can play Lemmings DS’. (Although there are exceptions)

Do you plan to release a version which will work on devices that go into the top of the DS, such as the DS-X ?
What’s the difference between both types of devices in term of compatibility?

Hi. I’ve got an EZ-Flash IV lite and the game doesn’t run. I’ve tried to copy and paste it without using the EZ loader and my NDS freezes when I try to run it, and if I use the loader I only see both screens in white. Is my EZ-Flash IV compatible? Thanks, and congratulations: the game looks wonderful!

Hi. I’ve just tried on ewin2, and it doesn’t seems to work (i’m stuck on a black screen). Too bad, this seemed like fun :)

  16. Matt December 30th, 2006 4:12 pm

    On -what-? :/

    No DS-X??? what’s a pity!!!! It’s the best game!!!

Here it doesnt work with Supercard SD Rumble… With the sc.nds i get 2 white screens, and with the nds file i get scrambled image and freezes

I have a supercard MiniSD, and it will play the first 2 levels on the funk difficulty perfectly fine, the rest will all say “ERROR - Canonisation Failed”

    http://www.the-buccaneer.co.uk/Photos/albums/Random%20Other%20Stuff/IMG_4425%20%28Custom%29.JPG

This is a picture I’ve taken showing what it looks like. If you try to open up a level that has that error, it will freeze upon loading.

Please read the forum to find out about ‘ERROR: Canonisation Failed’

Neither the SC or RAW version would run on my GBAMP-CF/DSPhat, am I to append a loader to the RAW version, I didn’t think so as I don’t have to do that to run any other homebrew software?

  22. Matt January 4th, 2007 11:50 am

Doesn’t work on GBAMP, I’m afraid.

  23. psycx January 6th, 2007 9:45 am

Does not work with my m3 simply. Title screen comes up with garbage.

  24. Killian! January 9th, 2007 2:30 pm

no DS-X?! aww shucks. i bought the kit so i could play a homebrew Lemmings game when someone inevitably made one. is there a mailing list i can subscribe to? y’know, in case a port is made for a Slot-1 device? (Slot-1 is the “top of the DS”, as the dev put it.)

Does it work on the M3 adapter/flashme/DS phat? I’ve seen contradicting posts.

  27. SLW January 29th, 2007 11:00 pm

any chance of it ever working on the SC lite rumble? id really love to play, not being a wiz a computers tho i dont quite understand whats involved as to why it wont work on my lil adapter.

Grr i wish i had got the normal lite sc card :’(

  28. DrJones February 16th, 2007 10:46 am

It does not work with the DS M3 Simply, as it is a Slot-1 card like the DS-X. The game starts but all graphics are scrambled.

  29. mbd February 18th, 2007 9:25 am

It (mostly) works on the EZ-Flash IV, with either of the two builds, but you need to rename the file so that its extension is ‘.gba’ instead of ‘.nds’

  30. mark March 4th, 2007 12:05 pm

..is a slot1 version anywhere on the horizon ?

  31. dave March 11th, 2007 4:22 am

NDS build works on my hardware out of the box.
I’m running NDS Lite with original firmware that came with it, PassCard, M3 Lite, 512MB microSD.

  32. okitasan March 23rd, 2007 6:00 am

Tried it on DS-Extreme. It actually crashed my cart, I had to recopy all the system folder back onto it..

  33. Matt March 23rd, 2007 2:50 pm

    Like I said, don’t do that! :|

  34. Solodric April 10th, 2007 6:19 am

How strange. Has no one yet made a Slot-2 Solution emulator for Slot-1 devices? That bears looking into, as it seems an obvious choice to create seeing as how so many homebrew applications - this one included - don’t run on Slot 1 yet. By the way, those of you who are eager to get it working on Slot 1, there seems to be a note asking for hardware donations. I imagine if you send a Slot 1 DS flash-cart adapter, the chances of it being ported would rise drastically. Is that correct, Mark?
