Hi there!

I've been neglecting my responsibilities here, I apologise. It's not that I haven't been up to much, quite the opposite. I just haven't written about it yet. ._.

I'm currently working on a rewrite of the website as I'm not happy with how it works at the moment. If you've looked around, you'll notice that each piece of content lives on a different .php page. Yep, that's not server trickery, that's my exceptionally terrible and short-sighted design. Cool, huh?

On the plus side, I've been working on the photo gallery section and the music section. It's all edge of your seat action on mrdictionary.net this year, yessirree!

It's been some time, but I've finally been able to pull it all together again:

The behind-the-scenes fanciness is all working and groovy... So have at it!

Now... all that remains is to see if I've set up the blasted Paypal stuff correctly.

And there you have it. It's done. Lemmings for the Nintendo DS, with all of the Lemmings and Oh No! More Lemmings levels ready to play.

I thoroughly insist that you download it, and play it. RIGHT NOW!

The 'gizmo' I mentioned in the last post was a program that used to be called 'Believe': an application that converted Lemmings for Windows levels into Lemmings DS levels. 'Believe' has now become the more mundane sounding lemmings_amigalemm_to_lds, and is now fully working!

A shiny new Lemmings DS Builder is available also, as are a few new apps for making your own exits, entrances and traps. As always, all the source code is there for you to have a fiddle with.

The more observant of y'all will have noticed that I've added a 'photography'* button to the nifty MrD.net main menu. I've got tons and tons of wonderful pictures** to share with y'all... just as soon as I can get this gallery program to work as I want it to. In the meantime...

Here's a question: A friend of mine has a quite large website that he needs to host. He needs PHP, mySQL, standard cPanel, about 20gb of space, and 'medium' (?) bandwidth...

Anybody got any ideas?***

Hmmm... I changed Lemmings DS so that the music is now random, and enabled by default. I've almost completely finished another gizmo that goes along with Lemmings, but I'm not fully sticking it online until it's finished enough.

My short term memory seems to have temporarily abandoned me these last few days, which has been quite an interesting experience. Imagine every time you turn a corner is like opening a door to an slightly unfamiliar room; maybe you'll have a vauge recollection of what lies behind the door, or maybe you'll simply stagger backwards in shock. Any attempt to focus on a single word or phrase leaving you in near-paralysis, rocking back and forth in a fetal position trying to recall what it is you were about to say.

I'm going to get myself a brew, see what's going on downstairs and then brush my teeth and go to bed. See y'all again next year.
